Welcome to the 1st ever International Congress of the African Network of Professionals (ANOP); with the theme “Professionalism in Africa: Problems and Prospects”.

This event aims to bring together diverse people with different backgrounds such as chief executives, managing directors, chairmen, traditional leaders, community leaders, directors-generals, government policy makers, legislators, political and civil society leaders, entrepreneurs, legal advisors, senior and middle-level decision-makers in public/private organizations, artisans, students, youths, etc. to deliberate and act on issues which shall ensure to promote efficient professionalism; and sustainable and equitable development on the continent.

We believe the time has arrived for the Africa continent to rise up and meet the challenges of professionalism, and as in every situation; there are moments in time of incredible bravery and heroism. We therefore stand up as a few brave men and women to be counted. Although we might be small in comparison to the great battles of which thousands have perished, we believe we can achieve even more through united spirit, courage and determination.
