Kenneth Nkuma-Udah

I wish to welcome you to the 1st Congress of the African Network of Professionals (ANoP) holding between 3rd and 5th of March, 2010 at the Golden Tulip Kumasi City, Ghana with the theme as PROFESSIONALISM IN AFRICA: Problems and Prospects.

The Organiser of the event, African Network of Professionals (ANoP) is a network of African Professionals, intellectuals, scholars and other eminent persons working together to develop themselves professionally and hence build a vibrant, prosperous, united, and stronger Africa. The network seeks to address the political, economic, socio-culture, and technological barriers hindering professionals from Africa through the advancement of professional networking and collaborations between individuals, national, and international bodies in Africa and the world over to build the capacity and broaden competencies in the diverse professions of its members.

ANoP is sponsored by African Biographical Centre as its membership arm. So membership of ANoP is by enlistment in the biographical entries of African Biographical Centre.

If you are an African professional or a professional working in Africa or for Africa, this event is for you. You are also invited to join the network as a member, so that you can maximize the benefits of the event in Ghana

I also welcome organizations, corporate bodies, philanthropist and other well-meaning individuals to support the congress programmes by sponsoring one or more items of the congress programmes.

Intending sponsors are encouraged to contact the Congress Secretariat.

Thank you all for your considerable response to participate in this epoch-making event.

See you all in Ghana from the 2nd to the 5th of March 2010.

Dr Kenneth Ikechukwu Nkuma-Udah
GENERAL COORDINATOR, ANoP
